 | Releasing our turtle pup at Pangumbahan Turtle Park, Ujung Genteng, Indonesia. Run Forrest, Run. The turtle ran down the beach to the waiting ocean... and got dumped. The park rangers here get paid very little. Turtle eggs sell for a fortune as a delicasy in Indonesia. The rangers could make more money selling the eggs. Instead, they carefully collect amd rebury the eggs where they can guard them until they hatch and then hand them out to tourists (who pay a small amount for the experience) to release onto the beach and scamper to the ocean.
